If something's off with your lists, work through the relevant case below.
Can't Create a List#
Free accounts can create up to 10 custom lists — if you're at the cap, delete an existing list or upgrade to PRO for unlimited. If the Create New List button is missing entirely, make sure you're logged in.
Can't Add Items#
- List is full. Free accounts cap at 100 items per list; PRO is 500. Wishlists cap at 500 regardless of plan.
- List is built from a rule. A smart list fills itself from its rule and takes nothing by hand. To edit it yourself, use Stop rule updates, which keeps the current items and drops the rule permanently. See How Smart Lists Work.
- Already there. Each item can only appear once per list.
Can't Delete#
Your built-in Wishlist can't be deleted — it's permanent. You can make it private and empty it out if you don't want to use it.
Can't Make a List Private#
Free accounts can only make the Wishlist private. Custom lists on free are always public — upgrade to PRO for private custom lists.
List Not Showing for Others#
- Confirm the list is set to Public
- Empty lists might not surface in discovery — add items
- Your profile might be private, which hides your lists from visitors
Items Missing#
- Active filters or search terms may be hiding items
- Clear the search bar (even a single space changes results)
- Hard-refresh the page to rule out a stale display
Can't Reorder Items#
Only ranked lists support custom ordering. Unranked lists sort automatically.
