Adding items is how you build out your lists. Both the built-in Wishlist and your custom lists use the same action buttons, just in slightly different places.
Wishlist#
Every issue, series, character, creator, story arc, and team page has a heart icon (Add to Wishlist). Click it to toggle the item in or out of your wishlist. Your wishlist lives at versedb.com/my/lists and is private by default for new accounts (you can make it public in your profile settings).
Custom Lists#
On the same item pages, click Add to List (or the equivalent action button) to:
- Pick which list the item goes in
- Add an optional note (up to 500 characters)
- For issues, pick a specific cover variant if you're tracking that detail
Any list takes any mix of issues, series, characters, creators, story arcs and teams. A smart list is the exception: it fills itself from its rule and takes nothing by hand. Smart lists are a Pro feature — see How Smart Lists Work.
An item can only appear once per list. If you try to add it again, you'll see a Remove option instead.
Don't have a custom list yet? Head to your lists page and click Create New List first. Free accounts can create up to 10 custom lists; PRO is unlimited.
