One of the twin fox brothers at the center of Fix und Foxi, the German comics magazine Rolf Kauka created in 1953 and ran until 1994. Fix and his brother Foxi were conceived as positive role models, open-minded, agile and caring. At its mid-1960s peak the weekly topped 400,000 copies.
