ROM (2026)
Skybound's take on the Hasbro armored hero brings Rom into the Energon Universe, the shared continuity the publisher built around Void Rivals, Transformers, G.I. Joe and M.A.S.K. Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici, the creative team behind Void Rivals, reunite to reintroduce the Space Knight of Galador and his companion Carpet as they track shape shifting Dire Wraiths across an Earth that has no idea what walks among it. Mat Lopes colors the book and Rus Wooton letters it.
Skybound launched it without warning, tucking the debut issue into the blind bag program for M.A.S.K. #1 in June 2026 so readers found it by opening a bag rather than by reading a solicitation. A wider release followed in August 2026 for anyone who missed the first printing. Rom's story carries on in the pages of Void Rivals from issue 33, tying the character into the line's ongoing narrative rather than leaving him in a self contained corner.
