Joan Hilty is an American editor and cartoonist who spent over a decade at DC Comics, where she served as a senior editor at the Vertigo imprint. Her editorial credits include Birds of Prey, Blue Beetle, and several Vertigo original graphic novels. She also created the comic strip Bitter Girl, which has been in syndication to LGBT newspapers across North America since 2001.
