Makoto Yukimura
Makoto Yukimura is a Japanese manga artist who debuted in 1999 with Planetes, a hard science fiction series serialized in Weekly Morning. He is best known for Vinland Saga, a historical epic about Viking-age warriors that began serialization in 2005. Vinland Saga received the 2009 Japan Media Arts Festival Grand Prize in the manga category.
