Kazuo Kamimura
Kazuo Kamimura was a Japanese manga artist from Yokosuka who studied at Musashino Art University and began his manga career in 1967. He is best known for his collaboration with writer Kazuo Koike on Lady Snowblood (1972–1973), a revenge thriller about a female assassin that was adapted into a cult classic film in 1973. He has been described as the ukiyo-e master of Showa-era manga.
