Atsushi Kaneko
Japanese manga artist born December 26, 1966 in Sakata, Yamagata Prefecture, best known for the ultraviolent Bambi and Her Pink Gun, serialized in Comic Beam from 1998 to 2001. His work blends punk-rock energy with genre-hopping visual styles influenced by Suehiro Maruo and American alternative cartoonists Charles Burns and Daniel Clowes.
