Yukio Sawada is a Japanese manga artist from Osaka Prefecture who is best known for Super Mario-kun, a comedic manga adaptation of Nintendo's Super Mario series serialized in CoroCoro Comics since 1990. He debuted in manga in 1980 and won the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award in 2020 for his long-running contributions to the series.
