Alain Dodier is a French comic artist born in Dunkirk. He made his professional debut in 1977 and began his signature series Jerome K. Jerome Bloche with writer Pierre Makyo in 1982 for Spirou magazine. The detective series has run for decades and earned Dodier two awards at the Angouleme International Comics Festival.
