Lupo Alberto is a blue wolf created by Italian cartoonist Silver (Guido Silvestri) in 1974, visiting the McKenzie farm to see his girlfriend, the hen Marta, kept apart by the sheepdog Mose. The strip became a comic ensemble, and Alberto grew into a pop icon with a magazine and 1990s cartoon.
