Ignatz Mouse is the brick-throwing antagonist of George Herriman's Krazy Kat, one of the defining early newspaper strips. Cynical and short-tempered, he hurls bricks at the lovestruck Krazy, who takes them as tokens of love, while Offissa Pupp jails him with ritual regularity.
