Morty is one of Mickey Mouse's two nephews, with his twin brother Ferdie, and the pair turned up in Floyd Gottfredson's Mickey Mouse Sunday strip in 1932. They are the sons of Mickey's sister, left in his care. Morty is usually the bolder of the two, though the twins are often interchangeable.
