Jolly Jumper is the extraordinarily intelligent horse of the cowboy hero Lucky Luke in the Belgian cartoonist Morris's Western series, first appearing alongside Luke in the Almanach Spirou in December 1946. Known as the smartest horse in the West, he can speak and often outtalks his rider.
