Court jester of the Belgian series Johan et Pirlouit, Pirlouit is known in English as Peewit and was created by Peyo in 1952. Short, boastful and greedy, he plays the lute badly and rides a goat named Biquette alongside the squire Johan. The Smurfs first appeared in one of their stories.
