Ouwe is the grizzled antique dealer of Uco Egmond's Dutch gag strip Eppo, named for the boy who works alongside him. A heavy grey moustache, permanent stubble and a black beret mark him out, and his shop's stock never quite sells. He and the dog Pineut round out the strip's small permanent cast.
