Kinnikuman is Suguru Kinniku, the lead of Yudetamago's manga of the same name, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1979 to 1987. It began as a spoof of tokusatsu superheroes and turned into a semi-serious wrestling story once Suguru learns he is the lost prince of Planet Kinniku.
